Two of the components in kudzu, daidzin and daidzein, may help reduce the consumption of alcohol according to laboratory studies performed on animals. St. John's Wort is a popular herbal remedy for depression and anxiety. It contains hypericin, a constituent which works to support the nervous system and relieve stress.
